{"id":4219,"date":"2022-12-12T10:10:05","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T10:10:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thecutbarcelona.com\/?p=4219"},"modified":"2022-12-11T16:08:33","modified_gmt":"2022-12-11T16:08:33","slug":"types-of-cannabis-concentrates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thecutbarcelona.com\/en\/tipos-de-concentrados-de-cannabis\/","title":{"rendered":"Types of cannabis concentrates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cannabis concentrates are products made from the cannabis plant. <em>Cannabis sativa <\/em>and the <em>Cannabis indica<\/em>, The plant contains a high proportion of cannabinoids (CBD, THC and other compounds) and terpenes (organic compounds from which essential oils are derived, responsible for the strong smell of cannabis, among other things).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Concentrates are part of a millenary tradition present in China and India, although they have had a greater technological development since the beginning of the 20th century. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zamnesia.es\/content\/622-guia-definitiva-concentrados-cannabis\" rel=\"nofollow, noopener\" target=\"_blank\">twentieth century<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cannabis concentrates are made from trichomes, small glands found in the buds, the flowering part of the plant.<\/p>\n<p>From these trichomes different organic compounds are extracted from the plant, but mainly THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), responsible for the hallucinogenic effects of cannabis; For example, kif (pollen) or kief is obtained by shaking the plant to release the trichomes. Hashish is produced by heating and compressing the kif to form small bricks.<\/p>\n<p>Charas are prepared in the same way as hashish, but using fresh flowers. Bubble Hash is created using water in the pressing process; and Rosin Hash is a resin extract that is extracted from raw flowers, using irons and temperatures that can reach 160\u00b0.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Concentrados_con_disolventes\"><\/span>Concentrates with solvents<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>These are cannabis concentrates made using solvents such as alcohol, butane, propane and CO<sub>2<\/sub>.
